WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., April 29, 2020 – Rapattoni Corporation (Rapattoni) announced today that the Greenville-Pitt Association of REALTORS® (GPAR), located in Greenville, NC, went live with Rapattoni Magic-Cloud AMS on March 3, 2020, and then completed Rapattoni’s “Mod 2 Training” in early April via remote web conferences due to the COVID-19 travel ban. Established in 1949, GPAR serves Greenville and the surrounding Pitt County communities in Eastern North Carolina.
Cloud AMS is a comprehensive solution for managing local and state associations, delivering the real estate industry’s most effective tools for working with membership records, accounting, education, events, contributions, and other critical association data. It provides a host of cutting-edge features, including an enhanced Internet Member Services (IMS) web portal allowing members to pay dues and other bills, register for classes and events, view association news, and more.
Ashley Deloatch from the GPAR staff said, “Replacing our outdated management system with something more advanced was a big step for us, and we were right to choose Rapattoni. Our top goal as an association is to find ways to better serve and empower our members, and the new member portal is an exciting addition. Our Rapattoni experience has been outstanding, and we look forward to learning more by the day.”
Brian Tepfer, Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at Rapattoni, commented, “We’re continuing to advance our AMS system’s underlying technology platform while rolling out powerful new features. We recently added configurable payment plans with scheduled payments and automated billing, along with a new interactive calendar and a messaging center.”
After completing the initial “Mod 1 Training” at the GPAR offices in early March, Rapattoni conducted the follow-up “Mod 2 Training” remotely in April due to the social distancing mandates and travel restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. This series of live online trainings covered advanced topics such as monthly MLS billing, credit card payment processing, NRDS CDB downloads, and data transmittals for third-party services.
“Our first onsite training was excellent, and the remote training we received due to the current travel situation was just as successful,” said Ashley Deloatch.
Marc Werber, Director of Association Management Software at Rapattoni, said, “We’re thrilled to have Greenville-Pitt join the Rapattoni AMS family! We will hand-hold this great GPAR team during these unique days to ensure a smooth transition to Cloud AMS.”
GPAR’s Cloud AMS service includes hosting at Rapattoni’s state-of-the-art data center, with automatic maintenance upgrades, managed database backups, and a hosted email server for the system's integrated communication features. For associations that prefer to manage their own server hardware, Cloud AMS can optionally be hosted on a local network instead.
